Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Trio Arts Academy (hereinafter “the Academy”) and its students (hereinafter “the Student(s)”) or their legal guardians. By enrolling in classes at the Academy, the Student(s) and their legal guardians agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Enrollment and Registration:
  • 1 Enrollment is confirmed upon completion of the registration form and payment of the applicable fees.
  • 2 The Academy reserves the right to refuse enrollment to any applicant at its discretion.
  • 3 Students are placed in classes based on age, experience, and ability, as determined by the Academy’s instructors.
  • 4 Placement decisions are final and at the discretion of the Academy.
  1. Fees and Payment:
  • 1 Fees are payable monthly, termly or annually in advance by cash or bank transfer.
  • 2 Payment deadlines will be communicated to legal guardians.
  • 3 Late payments may incur a late fee of £50 or result in the Student being unable to attend classes.
  • 4 The Academy reserves the right to adjust fees with reasonable notice to legal guardians.
  • 5 Fees are non-refundable except in cases of Academy cancellation or as specified in the cancellation policy. (No. 6)
  • 6 Payment plans may be available at the discretion of the Academy.
  1. Attendance and Punctuality:
  • 1 Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.
  • 2 Students are expected to arrive on time for class.
  • 3 If a Student is unable to attend class, the Academy should be notified as soon as possible.
  • 4 Missed classes are non-refundable.
  • 5 Make-up classes may be offered at the discretion of the Academy, subject to availability.
  • 6 Consistent lateness or absences may result in the Student being asked to withdraw from the class.
  1. Conduct and Behaviour:
  • 1 Students are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow students.
  • 2 Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • 3 The Academy reserves the right to dismiss any Student whose conduct is deemed unacceptable.
  • 4 Students must adhere to the Academy’s dress code.
  • 5 Personal belongings are the responsibility of the Student. The Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • 6 Use of mobile phones during class is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the instructor.
  1. Health and Safety:
  • 1 Students and their legal guardians are responsible for informing the Academy of any medical conditions or allergies that may affect the Student’s participation in classes.
  • 2 The Academy is not responsible for injuries sustained during class.
  • 3 Students participate in classes at their own risk.
  • 4 In case of emergency, the Academy will contact the Student’s legal guardian using the contact information provided on the registration form.
  • 5 Students should wear appropriate footwear and clothing for their chosen class.
  • 6 Students must adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the instructors.
  1. Cancellation and Withdrawal:
  • 1 The Academy reserves the right to cancel classes or change instructors due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • 2 In the event of Academy cancellation, a refund or credit may be offered.
  • 3 Students wishing to withdraw from classes must provide 6 weeks written notice.
  • 4 Refunds for withdrawals are at the discretion of the Academy.
  1. Photography and Videography:
  • 1 The Academy may take photographs and videos of students for promotional purposes.
  • 2 Students and their legal guardians must complete the media consent form upon enrollment.
  • 3 Students and their legal guardians are not permitted to take photographs or videos of classes without the express permission of the Academy.
  1. Liability:
  • 1 The Academy is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to Students or their property, except in cases of negligence on the part of the Academy.
  • 2 Students and their legal guardians agree to indemnify the Academy against any claims arising from the Student’s participation in classes.
  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
  • 1 The Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • 2 Students and their legal guardians will be notified of any changes.
  • 3 Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
  1. Data Protection:
  • 1 The Academy will comply with all applicable data protection laws.
  • 2 Student information will be used for administrative purposes and to communicate with Students and their legal guardians.
  • 3 The Academy has a GDPR policy that is accessible via our website
  1. Force Majeure:
  • 1 The Academy shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such failure or delay 1 is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or pandemics.
